Painting in oils, Michael draws his artistic inspiration and expression from the beautiful Indiana landscape and his love for the rich history of Indiana Art. Influenced by the Hudson River School, he works to achieve a level of realism in his landscapes while not losing site of expressing the mood of the scene with light and color that were so important to past Indiana Artists.
